Misunderstood Misunderstandings // Deluka
When Luka invited Delilah up to his dorm for an evening together, he didn't tell her exactly what his plan was. Of course, they'd relax together, and he'd brought up some sweets for them to share--but his main intention was to help her out with her marks. She hadn't been able to go to Hogsmeade last weekend, and Luka didn't like the idea of her being here in a castle alone with all of those people; especially when he didn't know for sure what they were up to yet. They'd already showed what they do when they're discontent, and he knew that the rules put into place separated people they were happy with from people that they're not.
He sat out books and supplies for them, and then lit a candle to try and give it a bit more of a romantic atmosphere. Maybe she'd be more open to working on it if the environment wasn't quite so strenuous. And then, later, they could be together like he knew she would want--and he, admittedly, would want as well. First priority on his mind, though, was keeping her safe: and getting her marks up was one way to do it.
