Luka’s Ending
After he visits George’s grave, Luka heads off to Italy. He lives with his parents for a short time, working some various jobs, until he finally applies for University.
It takes a little time for him to build up the base knowledge he needs to really get into the muggle school, but once he’s accepted, he starts right away. He meets a group of friends there that carry him through the rest of his life.
He pulls Briony with him to Italy as soon as he can, and after buying his own apartment, creates a family with her. It’s just the two of them for a little while, but soon enough they start having kids--five of them, to be exact. Luka balances his family, his school, and his work, finding himself exhausted every night but so grateful for everything he’s gone through.
Luka eventually finds himself as a therapist, helping people out who need it. He raises his family, making sure to keep close to them.
He never lets anyone he cares about slip away from him again. There are trials, as there always are, but Luka makes sure that everyone close to him knows how much he loves them.
It’s the best thing anyone can do.
