Oh, the girls are back and writing again. I cannot wait to get into all these fics I have been tagged in.

I swear I'm around and lurking over here so I appreciate everyone remembering lil ole me.

I'm going to see Sinners this weekend, so who knows, I might get bit by the writing bug again. Just haven't had the right kind of motivation.

If Anyone Was Wondering...

I missed writing for fun these past 2 years, but grad school kept your girl busy.

I already had about 3 more scenes planned for Erik and Imani...so I plan to finish out The E Commandments.

Might revisit DeeDee and Erik as well. But yeah, the writing bug has hit again. And there is still so much greatness coming out of the fandom...so you know, why not.

It'll be a moment as I transition out of academic writing to finding my writing voice again but I'm back I guess, lol.

Thank you to everyone who still tags me in their fics. I'm slowly making my way through them.

That moment when you realize the deadline you set doesn't need to exist...AT ALL.

Ummm, new stuff coming soon. I'm feeling very creative and gonna ride this one out.

I see...

why some folks end up w/ multiple WIPs. That moment you have been stuck while writing and updating your main story...for another idea to drop in.

Should I start it now or wait until I finish what I have been working on? You're stuck, so it won't matter. At least, you will be writing something.

Why is it...

That when you are the only one in the office...you are like the most productive version of yourself?

I am here in the office by myself, and at this rate, I will have all necessary work completed by the time my student arrives at 11.

It is like this when I am by myself all day on occasion as well. And my boss doesn't micromanage...so this is always funny to me.

Anywho, to anyone who sees this...HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!

While writing...

Discovering a really old playlist of songs that are great for the next part of your story.

Bouncing back between stories and chapters...those of you who do this regularly, you are the real ones.

Our dept office is now full of greatness, lol.

My coworker and I share the same first name. And so does one of our faculty members...we have already messed up my chair when all three of us were in the same room and she called our name.

I am waiting to see what happens now that she is no longer a temp but my official assistant. There has already been talk of nicknames which I find hilarious.
