Plans for January
Hey friends! Hope the new year feels rejuvenating so far.
Just posting a quick update with the plan for the coming month or so as banners will be changing! I've got another Sims In Bloom installment scheduled for Friday, and then I plan to start posting Ash and Nyon's university days starting next week (hopefully Monday, but we'll see).
Higher Education will see Ash and his girlfriend, Pearl, continuing their long distance relationship with some new obstacles in their way, and Nyon will either be just trying to fit in, or...not. It will introduce some new characters to the Sims In Bloom canvas, but I'd like to finish Ash's uni series before jumping back to the main legacy. It's my first time ever playing through university, so I have plot plans that include main legacy players, but gameplay could derail all of it.
But I'm excited to send this genius goofball and his loner friend for a full university experience, just to see how it goes!
Post frequency will depend on several things (every 2 or 3 days likely), but in an ideal world with consistent gameplay free of glitches, I'm planning to finish the university playthrough by mid-Feb at the absolute latest. Like Buttercup Vet School, it will be a special series that posts while Sims In Bloom's official legacy gameplay is paused.
From there, I'll finish off the last few installments of Gen 2, have a recap post or two, then officially switch to Gen 3 at some point in February (can't say yet whether it'll be before or after Valentine's Day).
Apart from making the banner for Gen 3 (at least for the early years), I've also been plotting some things for Lavender's gen this spring. I'm seeing travel, romance, and saving the planet, and that's just in her teen years!
Seeing the banners back-to-back makes me want to make one for Daisy and Gen 1, which I'll probably do at some point, even though it may never get properly used except in a navigation master post, specifically for Sims In Bloom, that I haven't made yet.
For now, hopefully we can all just enjoy Ash's time in university - including me!
Stay warm, everybody, or for of those of you in the southern hemisphere, stay cool. 🙏 As always, thank you for reading, reblogs, commenting, and for hanging out with me in my little corner of the simblrverse!
It's the day of doing things I've been putting off for as long as I can! I need to:
Start making two pairs of pants (sewing clothes is the worst but I want to wear them so...)
Go pick up my medication so I have some for tomorrow and I don't die
Update my Webbed Site
Do washing
Tidy the kitchen
Stretch
If I am good and do these things I think I shall rebleach and dye my hair as a reward. Let's see how I go!
2025 Writing Goal!
My goal is 12,500 words a month for 150k total for the year! I'm hoping it'll help me finally finish Draft 2 of Book 1! I'm about halfway through now, and got the bulk of that done last year so this is definitely a doable goal! Wish me luck! Gonna keep myself accountable by reblogging my monthly word counts!

i’m honestly starting to feel burnt out from tryna be productive hhhh can’t wait for school to start i miss seeing my friends :(
also i changed my table set up to make it more dark academia :)
finally started studying for the long journey to med school today. only 2 hours, i want to get up to 4 at least this summer and eventually whenever i have time. but 2 is a good start. right now I'm just self-studying to prep for real classes in fall since I've been out of hs for 8 years. i'm starting with reviewing trigonometry. might redo precalc to help jump into physics. thank god i don't need calculus!! soon I'm going to add grade 12 physics, chem, and biology to get the prerequisites/prep for the actual University level prerequisites.
