I just got this AMAZING piece from @theshitpostcalligrapher ! It’s based off a thing I said at work, which basically was when Salesforce bought Slack, there was a think piece about how “emojis in slack should be removed, they dumbed down communication” and “only idiots talked in pictures” which started a rousing discussion of memes, Star Trek, hieroglyphics, and oh so many emojis.

Now, we have a lot of custom emoji at work, and @theshitpostcalligrapher drew in my most used ones up there (lion hug, pun dog, oh no, fist bump) and also my favorite meta meme, smudge. It’s a piece of art, and I’m gonna hang it in the office when it opens up again.

The quote is: Emoji shall be the accent of the valley and we shall whisper it twixt the dots. The reason is to put an emoji in slack, you do :word: So the one I use most often now, :knifecat: brings knife cat up.
