You are such a fighter. I know you will get through this and find activities that work best for you. Keep us posted on how your doing!
I definitely will. I'm hoping that this 'episode' will just be one of many I've had in my life and I can get past it. I will have to be more cognizant of what's going on now, of course. Can't afford to just ignore it when it doesn't hurt, like I have in the past.

When I went to me first aerial yoga class they specifically stressed that it would help you do yoga without compression of the spine! :D it's awesome!! They've even had clients leave after a few months of consistent classes 1/4 inch- 1/2 inch taller!
Wow! I'll definitely need to check on this!! That's amazing. Thanks, Tabby!

Boo. But you have a solid plan and I bet you can make it work!
Thanks! I hope so! If this plan doesn't work, then I'll just have to adjust as I go.

effing degenerative disc disease! Did he say anything about bone density/calcium? You've got a great attack plan there - I know you can do this <3
No, he didn't say anything about either of those things. I haven't had a bone density test in a VERY LONG time. I had one when I was younger due to some hormone issues, and it wad fine, but I was in my 30s then.

Aw no, poorly spine! at least you get to keep at the exercise and stuff, hopefully that will help rather than harm. Keep doing what you do! :)

Omg the difference is flagrant :0 But the situation is not that bad after all! I think it's great your doctor didn't disapprove you working out. Don't do anything will be worst I think. Enjoy what you can do and manage your spine! <3
Yeah, I'll need to be really careful when I'm feeling well to not get carried away and over do. That will be my hardest task, I think, when I'm not hurting.

I don't know anything about back problems but I would be careful with inversions (handstands etc) because I reckon that will still be putting a lot of stress on your spine. Love your blog! Hope your back problems don't get you down, keep at it! X x x
Yes, I get what you're saying. I will have to see if I can do some research on it. I was thinking also of the anti-gravity yoga or even those inversion tables ... not sure if they are any real help for something like this or just a scam.
