[I‘ve always been too lazy to do that but I‘m procrastinating hard today so]
I‘m a 30-something German writer and already traditionally published a number of books.
Mainly • a Time Travel Novel set in Europe mostly (that my publisher for reasons that elude me markets as New Adult), • a sort of romantic Christmas Novel about a very frustrated bisexual employee of an auction house and a talented art forger he contracts to give in to petty revenge against his new employer and the art world in general (he’s a mess, she’s the cutest, only one is made for being a criminal and it’s not him), and • two Love&Thrill Romances set in British Columbia during Wildfire Season (which were the most fun to write but also the reason I am taking a break from publishing bc working w/ the editor of these two was kind of not it).
For two years now I am writing solely for myself in the hopes I will muster up the courage and nerves to query again at some point.
Current project is a High Fantasy called SECRETS (working titel) that was supposed to be the sequel to HEARTBEATS, which I started writing last years and finished this year, until I realized it’s actually the first of the serious and I‘m an idiot.
I blog about my writing and writing process (tags: writing, personal, heartbeats, secrets, boat is writing another book), my thoughts on social media and the publishing industry and whatever niche topics I am into at the moment. I am also chronically ill (MS, chronic fatigue) so you’ll hear me bitching about that too.
In theory I have a Newsletter that I love and usually share news, thoughts and musing and special interests in, but am not in the mood for these days. Here it is.

PS: if you need inside info on the art world etc. hit me up. I’ve got a master in art history and sinology and worked in auction houses. I’m also up to help out w/ all things german.
Haven’t been so content in winter in years. It’s below zero for s couple of days now, everything is a little frozen and there’s a thin layer of snow, the wind is ice fucking cold, but the sun is shining. Which I consider a personal affront most days because I start longing for the dark at about noon, but I appreciate the blue sky and can accept that my body needs the vitamin d. Also the blue morning light and the spectacular sunsets? liebs.
The dark is when everything gets cozy and life’s lit by fairy lights, it’s the time I think and write and drown in new shows and just enjoy myself.
Hate when people talk about something like it’s rocket science and then I try it and of course I’m not exceptionally good at it but that’s only bc I have no practice at all. Like what’s going on? Am I a genius or are you lying OR (third option) are you NOT a genius.
»Was lief da damals zwischen uns?
