my mogai voice: the fluidity of verses is inherently more radical than the rigidity of tops and bottoms who emulate the strict roles of heterosociety and thus verses are better than nshsbsu no i cant go on i love my top and bottom gays too much to do this
y’all: im so sad jk rowling keeps being a piece of shit because i used to really enjoy harry potter as a teen and now whenever i read the books i cant stop thinking about how shit the author is :( supporting known abusers, using lgbt people as marketing and then retconning it, mocking poor people now that she’s rich and she’s even supportive of terfs
me, with no nostalgia attached to jk rowling or any of her creations, thus have no reason to celebrate her (or even keep her alive): kill her
hey any mutual (or mutuals of mutuals) who plays ovw on pc wanna join practicing new heroes with a couple of nice ppl? we’re gonna practice mei, mccree and lucio and we love being positive
i’ve had to work for almost 22 years to accept my brown eyes in a society which will write mile long poetry about blue, and green, and grey eyes, but call brown eyes “lifeless”, or, if they feel nice, “mysteriously dark”.
and i just want to say that ALL of the progress i’ve made has been through loving brown eyes on other people.
i love brown eyes so dark they look like coal. i love brown eyes which reminds me of dark chocolate; of coffee; of mahogany. i love the treated wood and tree trunks. the golden shimmer that some brown eyes have is one of the most beautiful things i’ve ever seen. brown eyes that are a solid colour and those with a million different hues are equally beautiful in vastly different ways. the deepness of some eyes; but also the shallowness of others, where you can see the bottom reflect back.
brown eyes come in so many different shades, from stormy seas to sunny summer days, and i could talk for hours about brown eyes. i get delighted when an author spends time to describe the deep complexity of a character’s brown eyes. it doesn’t happen nearly as often as with other eye colours, but when it does happen...
and though i still don’t love my own brown eyes just yet, and have no clue what i’d call them (for years i’ve been told they look “dirt-coloured”, which i hope i can reclaim to mean freshly rained-on earth and soil when i start loving my eyes more), i know that there’s someone out there who loves my brown eyes as much as i love everyone else’s.
how do i shave my sensitive face w/o getting acne all over my jawline :(
