While they would love to give the other rogue the benefit of the doubt, and assume he may have come up all this way to check on them, they also feel they should know better than that. He hadn’t been awfully warm to them after all, if they had to guess anything, it would be that the other would have them as another puppet in his formidable arsenal. “Have I forgotten something?” they ask, since they didn’t think he would answer the previous question. If there was a meeting they were late for, it would explain him making the effort to find them. Although given his caliber, they doubt it was too difficult for him to track them down regardless, “I was under the impression we didn’t have any duties this evening.”
