1. nagato, but it’s like a friendship kind of thing. hes got OG rights, but lbr hes kind of a tit. 2. pein, it counts. he’s a corpse tho. and yet she’d still rather hang out with him than anyone else. 3. kisame, he’s a bro. he radiates bro energy. also blue da bu de 4. kakazu, old enough 2 just not give a fuck. not annoying. solid. 5. itachi, middle ground. not bad, but not trustworthy. she does feel bad for how young he is. 6. sasori, would be higher but hes a gossip and thats fucking rude. 7. zetsu, the potted plant cant be trusted but hes ok. 8. deidara, loud, arrogant, kind of a lil bitch, but she gets him on an artistic level so he’s not The Worst 9. hidan, he sucks. always getting blood on the carpets and making weird faces. 10. tobi/madara/fuck you, the Worst. tireless are the efforts of the village. spirits dampened by the heavy burden that had stricken their home, but she sees such a fire within them all despite the tragedy. they are a steadfast and strong people, unwilling to let the assault leave them in ruins. 

nagato had given his life to restore those they had taken.

konan would give her body. her time. her energy. all that she had in order to right the wrongs and pave a way towards peace. amegakure had precious supplies to offer, a drove of materials for rebuilding the shattered village. it would have been foolish to refuse their help.

she, herself, stayed. she was not to leave the village, under strict watch. none of it bothered her much. konan had always been firm in her resolve.

composure is kept in check. the icy stare of a woman who knows her presence is sharp as a knife’s edge, but still she endures. this pain --- this suffering --- her hand played no small part in it. to aid in it’s relief, the stitch the wounded flesh of a village in whatever way she could, was her repentance. watchful eyes trailed her, she knew, felt them burning holes into the back of her skull wherever she went. a seal, placed above her heart. konona’s intentions were plain, she allowed the village to take whatever precaution it wished. 

she carried supplies. bags of bandages and ointments and other medical necessities bound in paper coils to transport more and expedite the process. ❛ you are the one in need of these, correct? ❜

i want... an auish thing where in a show of good faith, konan brings ppl from ame to help rebuild konoha, in an effort to extend her hand as well as atone for the things that she sat so compliantly by with. she knows the crimes cannot be forgotten, but she would like to do what she can to aid in them moving forward. also... shes always wanted to see the village jiraiya came from....

konan at some point gets some very nice tattoos, dedicated to her two lost teammates in some way even if just through obscure imagery. probably a nice back piece, maybe even stretching across her arms and down her thighs. she also gets a sternum tattoo bcus i think theyre hot

konan is not the mom of the akatsuki. she is not softer, she is not kinder than the criminals with which she works. she is a criminal, she is a hardened edge, and she would not hesitate to put any of them down if pein were to so much as say the word. her loyalty lies in a singular place and she extends no special regard for the other members. she will help them, when they need it, but she does not dote. she is no medic, meant to sit there softly and stitch up their wounds in tearful silence for all of their suffering. she is an angel. a messenger. she is above and beyond them, they are just the means to an end.
