Credit © 🎬 ✅ @adam_ernster onboard @condorexpresssb Saving entangled dolphins is not always expected on the schedule for a day on the water, but our crew aboard the CX wakes up prepared for anything! Deckhand @devin.hunt along with galley mate @auzz91 helped save the life of this beautiful common dolphin today. Entangled in what appears to be a lobster trap line, this dolphin had gotten the rope entangled around its mouth, back and pectoral flippers. The crew pulled up alongside the lethargic dolphin with expert boat driving by @captainbeezer After a few head thrashes by the dolphin, and some cutting of the line by the crew, the dolphin was eventually free’d from the rope entanglement! A special special encounter for us today as we got to save one of the animals we love so dearly. What a fighter!
