|| There is hardly anything with Doffy outside his family that doesn’t have toxicity, it is only the level of toxicity that is different, and while that will surely be present, I don’t see their relationship being toxic love, or at least Doffy doesn’t. He has a certain type that attracts him, and while I won’t shut the door and say it’s impossible to happen, he will most likely keep it as a toxic one-sided crush. He enjoys having his ego stroked, he enjoys being amused, he enjoys manipulating and torturing the other person, but unless he sees the game being fun long-term, he won’t truly commit to it, if at all.

Love, however, is definitely something that won’t come from him. Be it toxic or otherwise.

ice forming on the water’s surface as his feet reached down  ,  supporting the weight of his body and keeping the bike still as hands remained holding onto the handlebar  .  could she possibly mean because of the bike or she meant about the way he handled things ? being on a ship was certainly more comfortable but he could move freely on his own like that and that felt right .  either way  ,  the greeting was sure welcoming after a few days away and he decided to take it as a compliment  .   ❛ arara  ,  i’ve been wondering the same  . crazy  , huh ❜  .

     he frowned at that, a tsk leaving his throat as usopp rolled his eyes. 

          “because that’s what EVERYONE does when they don’t think a joke is funny,” and with that he went back to hammering, not wanting to entertain someone who didn’t appreciate his jokes.
