You yawn and stretch out, trying to get comfy in the stiff school chairs. You huff and slump back against the desk, propping your head up on your hands and leaning on your elbows. You listen as Alphys drowls on at the front of the class. You're about to shut your eyes, just to rest them, when someone kicks the back of your chair.
You make a small annoyed whine, youre lucky its pretty loud in the classroom and no one heard that. You tilt your head to the side, looking behind you to find the culprit. Your eyes are met with a grinning, cocky looking Susie
You sigh and whisper "what..?" She just grins wider, revealing a maw full of sharp teeth. You smile a little at that.
She throws a paper aeroplane at you "huh-" it hits you straight in the forehead. You two were only about two feet apart, a paper aeroplane was definitely not necessary, you think to yourself. You turn back around to face your desk, unfolding the paper and reading the note, its scrawled in messy handwriting

You cringe then smile to yourself and tick the box labelled 'yes please I love you' and do a little doodle of the two of you holding hands. You fold it up, not as elaborately as susie did, and pass it back to her. You can practically hear her tail start wagging, clearly all pent up and excited, even though she'll deny she even has one.
You lay your head down on the desk and shut your eyes, finally getting the nap that you most definitely needed. Time would pass quicker if you were asleep anyway, or so you thought. You wake up maybe less than a minute later to the sound of the bell, damn, you should've checked the time before dozing off. You feel even more exhausted now.
You toss your things into your backpack and sling it over your shoulder, you stand up and start to head out. The plans had already kinda slipped your mind. Susie knew how forgetful you were, so she slings a heavy arm around your shoulder and grins down at you, all teeth.
"Hi baby~" she giggles, exaggerating the pet name she knows that you secretly like
You blush and stare at the ground, trying to hide in your hair "..hi susie" you finally look up at her, your eyes are wide and adoring as you scan her over. Her long hair looks even cooler today, the peircing in her eyebrow catching the light just right. Your eyes fall to her lips before you forcefully drag them back up to her eyes "so..your place or mine?"
"We both know its your place or nothing" she says with a slight grumble and begins to guide you both out the classroom by a hand around your waist "my parents would kill me if they saw me with a girl like you, or anyone for that matter" she says and ruffles your already messy hair
You grumble "im not little, im average height for a human" you say with a defiant pout, you know you sound like a total pick me but you dont really care. You both walk down the steps and out of the school, you lean your head on her shoulder.
"Naw, I think that youre just small. Im gonna keep commenting on it until you give up on trying to act all tough"
You punch her arm lightly but it just ends up hurting your hand "owh!!" You pull your hand away and cradle it to your chest "are you made of bricks or something..!" you say with a whine
Susie tugs you along as you walk back to your place "youre just weak, cmon dumbass the pain will wear off" she turns to you and grins "or i can always just kiss it better?"
"No..im fine! Look- doesnt even hurt now" you blurt out, extremely flustered and practically bright red
"Blah blah blah" susie taunts before literally throwing you into a piggyback on her broad shoulders
"Woah!!" You giggle and hold her tightly, your arms gentle around her neck but your thighs tight around her waist. You rest your chin on her shoulder and kiss at her neck as she starts to carry you both home "what's the sudden heroism for? Carrying the princess from the tower?" You tease
"I noticed you were all sleepy in class, I can't let my perfect girlfriend get overtired" she says with a theatrical grin, she even does the pose with her hands on her hips before she realises that you're slipping off her back and she resumes her previous position
"I like when you say that" You mumble. That word had hit you really hard and your heart is thudding fast in your chest, youre embarrassed that she can probably feel it through her back giving your current position
"Say what? Perfect?" Susie tilts her head back to look at you, your head perched on her shoulder
"...girlfriend" you say shyly, looking away as you can feel the blush creeping up your face
Susie stares at you blankly, seeming to not understand the significance until a sharp grin spreads across her face "aww? You like the validation of me calling you my girlfriend?" She turns her head to the side to place a firm chaste kiss to your lips "you could've just told me!"
You blush and squirm away shyly, loosening your hold on her so you can slide out of the piggyback "uhm..o-ok" you nod, looking at the ground.
Susie sighs and cups your cheeks "...man... that girl you dated a while back really screwed you up, huh?" She says, giving you a gentle kiss "you don't have to be embarrassed about talking about our relationship, I love you and im not trying to hide anything from anyone" she starts tugging you along again "now cmon, we gotta get home"
You smile and nod, following after her with a big happy grin on your face, in your head all you can think about is how perfect susie is: loving, protective, strong and just...her. you really are so head over heels for her and you don't even care. You're just so happy that you have someone to love you, someone to truly care for you.

You finally arrive at your home, dashing up the stairs to your bedroom to avoid your mother. You shut the door behind you two, leaning against it and looking up at susie before she practically faceplants on your bed. You giggle and follow after, kicking your shoes off and laying on top of her.
Your hand trails down her chest and you gaze up at her through your lashes, clearly something is on your mind. You bite your lip and blush, you quickly cut it out and hide your face against the crook of her neck "..you make me...feel weird"
"Hm? What do you mean by 'weird' baby..?" Susie responds, gently carding her fingers through your hair
"..my tummy feels all..swimmy and uh...my..." you cut yourself off, too embarrassed to talk about the overwhelming nervousness you feel when youre alone with her. It's pathetic how much she affects you.
Susie slides her hand under your chin and tilts your head up to meet your eyes, she has a reassuring look on her face "y/n? You dont have to get shy with me.." She mumbles
You smile slightly, you know shes just trying to make you feel better but it really is working "its just..um...whenever you look at me...like seriously look at me" you mumble, squirming on her lap "I get so nervous I feel like I might puke "
She just laughs and sits up, pulling you with her so you're straddling her lap. She kisses your forehead "sorry...I forget humans are so worrisome" she squeezes you in a big hug "so what do you want me to do to help with it..?"
"Uhm...I...I dont know" you say while glancing away "im sure ill get used to it..its just when we're alone like this"
"What? You worried im gonna rip all my clothes off the moment were alone?" She teases
You immediately flare up in a blush. The sheer thought of her doing that is making you incredibly flustered "wha-!!" You cover your face and whine "dont say things like that!!!"
Susie bursts out laughing and squeezes you harder to her chest "youre so cute. But dont worry I won't do that yet"
Deciding to ignore the 'yet' you snuggle back into a comfortable cuddle position and mumble "you've har your fun..I seriously need to sleep now"
Susie quickly remembers why you two are even in bed in the first place and lies down with you aswell "oh- yeah.." she places a kiss on your forehead "goodnight y/n"
