    she hisses, her breath is heavy and jaw tense enough for teeth to show.   the back of her head throbbed, her mouth was dry and the world around her often blurred if her head turned a bit too quickly.    she had caught a glimpse of red pass by her bars, the one who had put her in enforced unconsciousness.

          ` — Freshly tossed into the confines of the musty old room, he’s still very much in panic mode, and it’s panic that drives him to sputter. “Calm down? Are you being serious right now? What the hell, Minnie?” Hands grip tightly around the bars as he gawks ahead at her, knuckles turning white as frenzied eyes dart around the hallway where she stands with her crossbow. He’s unable to understand her nonchalance towards the situation when she’s lived it HERSELF, and he still doesn’t want to think about the blatant lack of Sophie by her side, nor what it could very well imply. “You have to help us! You - you’ve been here before, you know what it’s like! Please.”

    as she whips around, he stands up and AIMS.    the string to his bow squeaks under the pressure and he levels the sight for a perfect shot that would no doubt be fatal if his fingers released-- but the thought his quickly dumped, his expression so focused now shatters into a look of disbelief, mortified.   the steady aim teeters and begins to shake in his grip.    a beast began to claw at his insides and a cold sweat gathers on his brow. no... N O...

Eerie quiet settled in the cell area following what’d happened. It was a lot of screaming, sobbing, threats, and pleas-- only for it to go silent. Louis had passed out from the pain of it all. Aasim and Omar both hadn’t been scared silent in turn, though Aasim had tried to call Louis a few times to see whether he was even alive.

Louis finally woke to the taste of copper and a puddle of his own blood. Had he been lying on this back, he likely could’ve choked on the amount pooling in his mouth. Sitting himself up, he found trying to spit the oozing red out of his mouth was painful beyond belief. Oh God-- oh God, what the fuck had they done? Oh God, why couldn’t he have just fucking listened to them?

A tiny sob began to erupt from him. It all hurt. Crying hurt, but he genuinely couldn’t help it. What was he supposed to do?

his goal was to save as many people as he possible could. he had found a girl when he climbed down the stairs in a rapid pace. how he managed to survive this while managing to grab one person from the boat? it was a mystery. he had carried her out to dry land and laid her down making sure she didn’t have any too serious injuries. when her eyes opened he moved back slightly. “Are - you hurting?” he whispers out in a quick concerned tone.

standing his ground -- protecting clem and AJ was almost his duty. he stared down the other who wielded that crossbow. he wasn’t afraid, he never would truly feel afraid again in his life. “i said - no.” he gritted his teeth his fist clenching slowly, he was in no mood to hurt someone who had their mind twisted. he knew little about her, only what clem told him. “you don’t have to do this, Minerva is it?”

he wanted to talk her out of it, try to help. show sympathy. he almost related to her but he moved past it, it appeared she had a harder time doing so. “can we just - talk?” he kept his hands held out, so she knows he had no weapons to try to backstab her. he just wanted to talk, try to HELP.
