ALWAYS. Its one of those forever fandoms where I forget for a while but then I'm crying listening to butterfly and it's terrible/great.

I'd say the reason is twofold: 1. we never see each other except when it's TOO CRAZY. 2. Even if it wasn't too crazy, it's been YEARS since I've been in the trenches, like probably a decade? And I think your detail recall is better than mine, so I've been hesitant to get i na conversation and get my facts wrong BECAUSE I WORRY ABOUT THESE THINGS but listen, I'm going to rewatch the whole fucking things, and we'll have a special panel about it at Tencon ???

88888888888)))))))))) I'm going to use their american names bc im american trash so

1. The first character I first fell in love with: ROWEN, I saw him in the teaser trailer and I was like "that one is my favorite" and he TOTALLY WAS

2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Kento, bc on first watching I just saw BIG DUMB GUY WHO EATS but I warmed up to him when I started digging into the supplemental stuff

3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t: I mean, I'm so far removed that I can't remember any characters that I didn't love, but I had to REALLY bend Cye every which way to come up with a version of him that I liked that didn't contradict canon, but I blame a lot of that on his nasty dub voice

4. The character I love that everyone else hates: yuli o n o . . .

5. The character I used to love but don’t any longer: I used to be ALL ABOUT DAIS but I really can't remember why? I mean, he's fantastically pretty but...

6. The character I would totally smooch: rowen rowen rowen rowen rowen rowen /stands on head about ROWEN ROWEN AND HIS STUPID ENORMOUS CLOTHING

7. The character I’d want to be like: hmmmMMMM Anubis, probably! BEcause  you know, his redemption story is SO GREAT and he has to fight for trust but he GETS IT and really, he's a super talented guy who just has bad luck until he realizes the path he's supposed to be on and then he becomes a SUPER BADASS WHICH IS KIND OF HOW I SEE MY LIFE SO

8. The character I’d slap: Ryo, because I just remember him whining a lot, but I DO need to get back on my rewatch. I know he does cool things too and inspires people, but like--NARUTO ALSO INSPIRES PEOPLE BUT NEVER ACTS LIKE AN EMO DOUCHE, SO I DONT GENERALLY WANT TO SLAP NARUTO unless i slap dat ass

9. A pairing that I love: Sage/everyone. 8| It's not my fault he's soOOO BEAUTIFUL. But mostly Sage/Rowen (hhHHHH #1), Sage/Mia (it's cool bc he has his moments, but he's at a better maturity level for her?), and Sage/Cale (LIGHT AND DARK AND CALE IS ALSO SO ATTRACTIVE? spades all tha way. I also had a thing about Sage/Kayura, but I don't think it was based in canon?? I think I just liked it.  

10. A pairing that I despise: Cye/Kento always seemed like a pity pairing to me, honestly. I would rather see them NOT PAIRED UP (if you're going the ryo/mia, sage/rowen route) or paired Cye/Sage or Cye/Ryo and Kento/Rowen--but I prefer Kento and Rowen as biffles, maybe they kissed once accidentally/one a dare/experimentally, but the most important thing is who has the higher vidya completion rate

I'm not the best to startle. My natural reaction to being scared is "DEFEND MYSELF AND DESTROY THE ATTACKER." 

My elbow still hurts this morning, but it's just when I focus on it or if I lean on it.
