Dark Souls: Demastered
Playing through more of The Mummy: Demastered, and it reminds me of the early times playing through Super Metroids.
The reason I sold my NES/SNES was because of Super Metroid. Not because it was bad, of course not, and not even that it can't keep up with modern games.
No, the reason is that I played through it so much that I wasn't even thinking as I played through it. It was like watching a Lets Play, without commentary, than it was like playing a game.
The Mummy: Demastered is as close as you can get to Super Metroid, without getting sued over it. But, the maps are completely different, and so it's like playing through Super Metroid again after all of these decades.
