I once (YEARS ago) asked 6-year-olds what some of God’s commandments were and the first answer was “you can’t marry a boy if you’re a boy.” I was hoping for “be honest,” or something. Sigh.

A counselor can help you figure out if somethings an addiction or dependence (maybe dependence plus anxiety.) A few sessions with a counselor is always a good idea for ADHD anyway; we have to use skills and stuff along with meds.
