Sometimes I realize I'm an actual person with an actual life and defining personality traits that make me, me. I'm not just my gender. I don't have to contain my happiness or dancing just to be more masculine. I don't have to be all tough and nonchalant to be a man. I am me and I am still a man. (Well technically a demi-boy but just roll with it) I can like men and want affection without being something I'm not. I can want to feel safe and the protection of another person while still being a man. The world may not see me as a masculine man, but sometimes I do. Isn't that what should matter to me? We are all different people with defining stuff. Just because there is a trend that a lot of people follow, does not mean I have to fall in line with that to be a man. aka, I don't have to give up my personality to be a man.
does this make sense, ya'll?
