Lagoona
Clan Leader of WaterClan
Lagoona is one of the largest of the clan leaders. She’s considered the most mutated pure demidragon to currently be alive. Lagoona rose to power traditionally by excelling in competitions set in place by her clan and proving her power. She’s one of few demidragons who can quickly adjust to the difference in light, temperature, and pressure while swimming in the ocean. Her swimming abilities are rivaled only by that of the great sea monsters of legend and her strength is said to be fearsome in combat.
Lagoona doesn’t often speak much at Gatherings, opting to allow what’s going on in her clan to be much of a mystery aside from kits being born and the clan doing well. She was the second most opposed demidragon to Blaze’s assertion as Clan leader, pointing out that Blaze was only sixteen at the time and hardly worthy enough to be considered a leader. She’s since grown respectful of the younger demidragoness but will express elicit dislike of the clan as a whole and watches carefully to see if they will dare attack her island packs again.
To her clan, Lagoona is seen as almost mother-like. Many of her warriors will say she was blessed by the Great Mother, Ursa. She is constantly ensuring her clan has enough food and their trading outposts are in premium condition, bringing prosperity and goodwill to her people as a whole. She is among the first of WaterClan leaders to be seen conversing with the deep dwellers as well as those closer to the surface about matters of concern.
Though she lacks tailspikes and a tail blade like many of her clan, Lagoona is still a fearsome fighter. Her bulky body can twirl elegantly through the water and slam into a rock formation hard enough to have it crumble to the bottom of the ocean. She’s known to join hunting parties for the most dangerous kinds of sea monsters, bringing back large specimens to feed her people. The only time Lagoona ever gained a scar was when she faced a particularly angry sea dragon. She wears the scar proudly on her nose.
