In the quiet of his home, with all of the furniture pushed to the side and a blanket of dark power across the windows to hide the view on the inside, Elijah quickly went to his work. The summoning circles were ingrained in his memory by now, drawing them was almost second nature. He drew it large on the floor, prepared for whatever may come through.
He stood over it, staring down at it for a moment before he walked across the room to the little end table he had pushed aside. The cup of Jesse's blood sat there with Corvus's ring. The rings presence no longer bothered him, years spent trying to figure it out had numbed him to its screams, he could pick out the power he felt emanating from it. Knowing who it really came from, it all made sense. He picked it up as he walked past and stuck it in his pocket.
He headed, first, to the office. The empty android that was once Connor was sat behind his desk, his head leaning a bit to the side. Elijah had given him simple clothes when he fixed him, just a white T-shirt and dark sweatpants. He looked just like he had fallen asleep sitting there, the LED blinking a steady beep in yellow, trying to find the AI that didn't exist in it. Elijah stepped closer to him, resting his hand on Connors head.
" Let's hope this works, Connor, " he sighed, " If Jesse's blood can't get a demon to show, then there's really only one option left. One way or another, I'm getting you out of there. " He lingered there for a moment, just staring down at that peaceful face, before he closed his eyes and turned back out.
He grabbed the blood as he entered the living room again and stood over the summoning circle, " Here goes nothing, " he mumbled, pouring the blood out in the circle, " Come forth, heed my call, and grant my wish! " He threw the cup to the side and took a step back, shifting himself to his more demonic form. His eyes glowing bright blue as he watched the circle, the horns appearing as well on his head. He was tense, ready for anyone who might step through.
