truth is some things aren't so much easier or harder to draw as other thing as much as people simply care less or more if they look bad. than other things. people are going to notice and care a lot more about a badly drawn human face than a badly drawn rock

Saying that other languages’ random daily words are slurs because they sound like the ones in your language (I’m looking at those USAmericans) is weird. Even if you mean it as a joke, I feel like it implies you think of yourself and your people as the center of the world and other languages revolve around yours.

Oh, and also: Some people nowadays too cool with saying actual slurs.

And no, censoring the slurs you use in your sentences (unless your sentence is talking about what the slur and its meaning is) doesn’t make it better.

Saying “ninjas” to refer to black people actually isn’t much different than calling them the n-word (at least in my opinion).

Still on n-word: saying “nga” while talking to others for absolutely no reason when you’re not black is racist. Stop.

Saying someone is “restarted” is literally calling them a slur. You’re a bad person if you ever make fun of someone by saying this.

Saying “acoustic” in that context (like those tiktok comments) is offensive in 2 different ways:

Implies “autistic” is a bad word and needs to be censored.

Uses the term “autistic” as an insult.

The censoring/using similar-sounding words isn’t doing anything. Slurs are about the meaning. If you intend to say a slur (that doesn’t apply to you) but spell it wrong to avoid backlash, you said a slur, you’re a bad person, and you shouldn’t be upset if you get called out on it. Be better.
