(another) Concept: Before Hyakkimaru turns into a demon for the first time, he begins to act a little "funny" and "weird." More weirder than usual, that is. He begins to pick and scratch at his skin. And when Dororo asks what is wrong, Hyakkimaru merely answers by saying "--itchy." Another time, Dororo wakes up in the morning to find that Hyakkimaru had left a handful of red feathers lying the bed sheet.

I feel like during winter, Hyakkimaru would NEVER return to human form because it’s easier for Dororo to stay warm in his feathers
itd be very comfortable for the both of them- but staying a bird for such a prolonged time… that might worry dororo
How Would Demon!Hyakkimaru react to his real family? Would Tahomaru even be able to figure out this is his long lost, supposed to be dead brother? ( I mean the poor bab barely figured it out in the anime when given /all/ the hints.)
this was a hard one to answer i could see it playing out similar to what happened in the show or going completely off the rails and not even daigo knowing who this giant bird may be-but i- need tahoumaru to not be swayed to be a dick by his father- hes too pure….
