Smaugust 2025, week 1

Thought I'd give @otiksimr's Smaugust prompts a try! No idea if I'll be able to keep this up but damnit I'm trying. There's not much I can say about these ones, though there are a few design notes under the cut:

-The first three are all desert animals. I don't know why my brain decided this, but they all live in the same place. -Day 2's color sceme was inspired by skinks and tegus. It's why it has a blue tongue!

-Day 3's design is inspired by sandworms, while 4's design is inspired by polar bears. These two are kinda like opposites, even in size!

-I had no idea what to do for Day 5.. until I saw Day 6's prompt, and immediately knew what to do. What better way to show it's an endling than for the next prompt to be its fossil?

-Day 7 is a caterpillar :) Honestly, as much as I love aquatic dragons and weird sea creatures, not enough people used this prompt as a chance to make bug. Not as far as I've seen, anyway.
