Joshua

OK i came out with a Demon Muffet fic. It is pretty long for a post and I have no idea on how to do a keep reading post that I see on most fanfic writer blogs. If any could let me know how to do that please comment. Thank you again to @seirindono for letting me do this. 

Warnings: Death, Demon Deals, Questions Sexuality. Once again this was not written with the intentions to offend anyone, this was solely for fun please do not read if easily offended. Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy it.

Joshua

           Joshua wasn’t sure about his life. His life was great. For the most part. At the age of 11 his parents had abandon him and his older sibling. They had raised him own their own since then, and Joshua was forever grateful to them for that. At 14, Joshua was diagnosed was an inoperable tumor that was growing on his brain. He was given 7 years to live, but the next day….he was cured.

           From there Joshua and his older sibling had inherited half a million dollars from their 3 year missing parents. They had died in a plane crash or something. Truthfully, Joshua could care less. After that life had defiantly taken a turn for the better. After high school Joshua had decided to take a break from education and got a job. It was at work that he met someone two people that would change his life forever. Naomi and Tyler.

           Naomi was everything he wanted in a partner. Smart, cute, polite, and a little shy. She stole Joshua’s heart instantly. Tyler became his best friend. He was funny, was always there when you needed him, and he was gay so Joshua never felt like he had to compete for Naomi’s attention. They were people that Joshua had felt would always be part of his life. But, life has a way of making things, let’s say interesting.

           In the following months Naomi and Joshua had gotten closer. Joshua was even planning on asking Naomi to start dating. Tyler on the other hand, was getting jealous about their relationship and had tried to discreetly put a wedge between Joshua and Naomi. Tyler had fell in love with Joshua.

           On Joshua’s 19 birthday he had planned on taking Naomi to meet his older sibling and confess his feelings for her. He instead found himself calling her to cancel the meet up and demanding that she stay out of his life. Even now he can’t fathom why he did this. Even more confusing was his sudden lust for Tyler. They started dating, and a year later, Joshua proposed to Tyler. Joshua is still in love with Naomi and thinks of her often. He feels so guilty about how he ended things with her. Which is why he is here; making a deal with the Demon of Greed.

           He had to admit Muffet (as she introduced herself) was beautiful for a demon. She had purple skin, short slightly darker purple hair that had bangs. The bangs covered her extra set of eyes. Two legs, two arms, four limbs that protruded from her back, and lastly horns that grew out of the top of her head. Muffet was a spider demon that had a professional air about her. She was really attractive. So much so that Joshua had no ill feelings about summoning her for a deal.

           The deal was simple. Joshua had wanted to make things right with Naomi. He just didn’t know how to contact her. He cut all ties that day when he broke her and his heart. So even if he knew how to get back in touch with her, he couldn’t bring himself to look her in the eye and see the hate that must surely be there. The only safe way to make things even semi right was to give her money. It couldn’t come from Joshua directly though, it had to come from someone else.

           That was where Muffet would come in. Muffet would send out her spiders to track down Naomi and deliver the money anonymously. Joshua would never be mentioned to Naomi, and Tyler would never find out that Joshua still loved Naomi. It seemed like a good idea, until Muffet stated her price. “This does not seem like a fair deal for your soul. Are you sure you wish to go about this way? Be warned, all paths of Greed lead those who travel unrewarded. You will die this night.”

           Was Joshua willing to die for this? He knew Tyler would be devastated. Joshua cared deeply for Tyler, he really did. It’s just…..it didn’t feel real. Like he was forced to feel how he felt for Tyler. His feelings for Naomi were stronger and more real than what he felt for Tyler. For some reason, he can’t bring himself to end things with Tyler. Making a deal with Muffet was the solution to this. He makes things right to the one he truly loves and frees himself from whatever it is that binds him to someone he does not love.

           Seeing as Joshua had made up his mind, Muffet held out her hand for Joshua to shake. With only a slight hesitation, Joshua took her hand firmly, and they shook. The deal had been made. “Would it be alright if I go for a drive? There is a place my older sibling and I go to look at the stars. It is a beautiful place, nice and quiet. Kind of like your eyes. I would like to die there instead of here.”

           With a giggle Muffet responds. “Since you asked so sweetly, you may go. I have some time to spare before my next appointment. Everyone is always summoning me for something. I will meet you there.” With that she disappears.

           It was just a few short minutes that Muffet now finds herself holding Joshua’s soul. Joshua’s older sibling sobbing in the background. Muffet could barely hear Sans taunting said person over their cries. Muffet was examining the soul in her hand, making note of the marks that were placed on it. Marks that were not ones she made. Joshua soul had been by two demons. The Demon of Sloth and The Demon of Lust….fancy that.

Usually this is the fate of those who lose a bet against her or if there is a rupture of contract. You can try and barter tears (crystals), blood (rubies) or dust (diamonds) but push your luck too much and you'll end up as part of her collection, uhuh.
