Demons don't take kindly to screw-ups
{A bit of a drabble I wrote for an au I came up with a while back, heh}
Will Strife really hated his /boss/.
They had a pretty touchy relationship as it was, but this, this was just the bloody icing on the viscera cake. Strife was perfectly fine when they kept their distance from each other. He had the title ‘CEO of the crossroads’- a position coveted by most. He ran his business the way he wanted, and the other crossroads demons were in his command. It was pretty much perfect.
And then Ridge decided Strife needed to take on an apprentice. Not just any apprentice though, oh no. The most incompetent of apprentices. Strife hadn’t even known it was possible for a crossroads demon to screw up deals as badly as Parvis did.
He’d been his apprentice for around two weeks now, and Strife was already worn incredibly thin. Parvis was growing on him, that much he would admit. But he was still a total idiot, and he seemed to pride himself on screwing Strife’s deals five ways to Sunday.
"-and your business will be fully restored to its former glory. It’s an excellent deal." Strife smoothly concluded his sales pitch, eyeing the human client before him.
"If you don’t mind being flayed by a hellhound at the end of your ten years, that is," Parv chimed in. The humans expression became one of slight horror, as he continued, "I’ve seen it happen before. It’s usually a very bloody affair-" he was cut off suddenly by Strife’s hand over his mouth.
"Excuse the idiot, he’s, er, new," Strife said quickly, shooting a glare in Parv’s direction. "And a bit of a joker. Disregard anything that comes out of his mouth." Parv narrowed his eyes at Strife, and then poked his tongue out, licking the CEO’s hand. Will jumped, yanking his hand away.
While Parv dissolved into laughter, Strife regained his composure. “So, what’ll it be? Deal, or no deal?” The human paused, seeming to think over everything he’d heard that night. Selling your soul was a terrible price to pay for anything, but in the end, greed won out. “Deal.”
Strife grinned. “Excellent. You won’t regret this.” Parv opened his mouth, probably about to say something along the lines of ‘in ten years you will’ but Strife kept talking. “All that’s left to do now is seal the deal.”
Parv grinned. “This is my favourite part.”
When Strife drew the victim— er, client into a kiss, Parv whistled and catcalled, causing the humans face to grow several shades redder. Breaking away from Will, the man walked off in a flustered hurry.
Once the human was out of earshot, Strife whirled around; his narrowed eyes now pools of that familiar crossroads demon red.
"Are you an idiot, Parvis?" He hissed. "You almost fucked up my deal."
"But I didn’t, did I?" Parv sang. "No harm done."
He didn’t get it. He just didn’t get it. Will was at his wits end. He marched towards Parvis, grabbing a handful of the younger demons dark hair and yanking it back. A soft, startled yelp escaped Parv.
"I have a hard time believing you are really this thick," Strife growled, face barely an inch away from his apprentices. "Honestly, I have a hard time believing you’re even a demon. You sure as hell don’t act like one."
"I was just having a bit of fun, Strifeykins," Parv replied, batting his eyes innocently.
Strife growled again, yanking harder on the demons hair. “You are incompetent, immature, irresponsible, the list goes on! I’ve tried my hardest to teach you, yet nothing seems to get through. And now you’ve gone and nearly screwed up yet another one of my deals! Is this some sort of game to you?”
"I, uh," Parv actually looked a bit frightened. Will shook his head. "Forget it. Don’t answer that." He released his grip on Parv’s hair and turned around, shaking his head and running a hand through his own sandy blond hair.
"So we’re good then?"
"No. We are very far from ‘good’, Parvis."
"I dunno mate, this seems pretty good to me."
Will hissed softly. “How does anything about this seem good to you?”
"Well, you aren’t pulling my hair anymore."
"Would you like me to?"
"Ooooo Strifeykins, so kinky~"
That was the last straw. With a growl, Will whirled around yet again, marching towards Parv. Grabbing the young demon by his shirt, he tugged him towards himself. “You are immature,” he repeated in a low, gravelly tone, “And I’m going to punish you.” His grip on Parv’s shirt tightening, he yanked him closer, connecting their lips.
Parv yelped again in startled surprise, while Will nipped his lower lip with a sharp tooth, drawing a drop of blood, shoving him back against a tree in the meantime.
It was a bitter kiss, full of venom and anger, but Parv let out the softest of pleased whimpers. Demons didn’t mind a little venom now and again.
When Strife pulled away from Parv’s lips and pressed against his neck instead, Parv let out a little gasp. When he nipped at his neck, the gasp became a soft moan, the younger demon clinging to the older. And when Strife shifted slightly, pressing a knee between his legs, Parv practically melted.
His grip on Strife’s shoulders tightened, pressing against the older demon.
"W-will," he breathed out, the end lifting up into another moan as Will moved his knee just slightly.
Strife didn’t respond; he merely dipped his head, pressing his lips against Parv’s collar bone, sucking lightly here and there. Whether or not this was arousing him, he would not let on. The point here wasn’t really to pleasure himself, it was to teach his incompetent apprentice a lesson.
Although, that in itself was kind of pleasuring.
In only a matter of minutes Parv was a mess, breathing heavily and twitching and begging Will to finish him off, please, he was so fucking close-
Will only smirked, moving his knee once more before pulling it away entirely. Parv’s eyes popped open.
"Strif-e?" He could barely speak properly, he was breathing so heavily.
"I hope you enjoyed your punishment, Parvis." Will pat the young demon on the head, that smirk never leaving his face.
"Try not to fuck up anymore of my deals."
And with that, the crossroads CEO snapped his fingers and disappeared, leaving Parv slumped against a tree, trying to catch his breath and finish himself off, thinking up ways to get back at Will all the while.
