+Updated Lilith's clothes. A little later, I'll draw a finishing concept, probably immediately in the form of a model sheet. Initially, that's how I wanted to tie her outerwear. I even have a very, very old digital art with Lilith, Ata and Lucifer, where Lilith's clothes are tied like this👇
It seems that she was called Himations by the Greeks🤔
Of course, that's exactly how it was never tied by the Greeks, it even reminds me more of a piece of Viking clothing😅 That's why I was looking for another option to tie it over Lilith's night mini dress. The task was to design clothes for ancient Greece, but at the same time maintain a certain frankness of the outfit.
After all, according to the character and plot, Lilith, as in the original myth, is a demoness who loves herself and her appearance, who is used to manipulating men precisely at the expense of her sexuality. In ancient Greece, women, at least decent ones, wore only long dresses. And I couldn't find what the courtesans were wearing there, but that's not the point either.
By nature, despite this type of manipulation, Lilith, with her selfishness, clearly will not consider herself a dishonest woman) However, I drew a short dress, because it would be easier to draw Lilith's hoof legs, and for length I threw a cloth over her hips, securing it with a belt at the waist👌
A fragment of the storyboard of the future comic: Lilith convinces Atu's daughter not to reveal Lilith's lies to demons, including Lucifer.
I still can't find the right background style😩 I need something simple, but colorful, quick to draw, not difficult to animate, considering, in the long run, that it will be used for this.
The demoness Lilith, as well as the rebel angels, was cursed by Yahweh (turned into an animal-like creature). This curse became Lilith's punishment for betraying Adam, to whom he initially assigned Lilith in Eden.
On the day when Lilith escaped from Adam and hid from a group of angels sent by Yahweh to her for an ultimatum on the other side of Eden, a group of rebel demons, at that time, led by Lucifer, managed to get out of the abyss straight to Eden, where Lilith was hiding.
Breaking away from the group, Lucifer, then still exiled, but not cursed, stumbled upon Lilith. As a result of the dialogue, he offered to help her in their plans to annoy Yahweh, in return offering her to become a kind of "queen" of the rebels. Lilith agreed. Thus, the rebellious angels learned about the forbidden tree in Eden for people🍎, and Lilith found herself in the abyss with the rebels.
However, Lilith never became the "queen". Lucifer had deceived her. None of the rebels, except for the hierarchy of archai angels (angels who control the air), considered themselves equal to a man, and even more so to a woman, since even under Yahweh the angels adhered to the patriarchy.
Lilith became popular among the Archai demons for another reason. The angels, because of the lack of a female in Eden, did not know... sexual relations💜. This part of nature was revealed to the demons by Lilith through the demon Belial, in return for his help and loyalty, since he was the only demon at that time that did not look down on her.
Thanks to this "discovery", which Belial "spread" among all the demons of his hierarchy (archai's), Lilith became popular among them and they are the only demons who began to keep equal, if not lower, with her.
