If I reblogg a post, do the prior taggs on the post count for a trigger filter or do I have to tagg everything myself again?

To answer your question: I used to think that only the tags of the ones I follow are relevant for what shows up on my dash or is filtered out.

Example: you tag with "spider" or "spider tw" and my dash says "You have muted that term, sure you wanna see that?" vs. You don't tag, I see the post on my dash unfiltered.

However, apparently it's enough that *someone* along the RB chain tagged it with the muted term to be caught in the filter.

So, unless you make an original post and forgo tags (as it was the case with the blog in question that I meant with my post), if it was tagged at some point with the relevant term, you should be okay.

That being said, I would always try to tag for common triggers just as a precaution and general courtesy - but that's basically all it is. A courtesy. I know I cannot expect everyone to take care of me and my feelings - which is also why I didn't call the "offending" blog out or message them and just unfollowed.

Personally, I feel it should be general internet etiquette (nettiquette to use a favourite German name for it) to tag for common triggers, but that's just my personal opinion.
