Update on the demon headless horseman piece. Now, as the legend is fiction, and even then has several versions, I would like to ask for some input. You may notice that the second pair of jpgs are identical aside from the horseman’s skin tone. Now, the horse is a demon, not him. Some legends say he was a Hessian (German mercenary around the time of the American Revolutionary War), which makes him being a white male more likely. However, none of the accounts in the story really specify skin tone. So!... Dark or Light? I’ll put it to a vote but everything else will be done before the skin tone to give people time to vote

Sorry that it’s been a few days since I last updated. Here is the current progress. I know I said the rider was my next focus, but I just really felt like doing the scene sketch for around him. Obviously, I am now so incredibly far from done >P

I think the sketch is pretty much finished! Next up will be shading test, and then I will start color and lighting combined

Added to that demon horse piece. I think the horse is mostly finished but I am going to shift focus to the rider for a bit. That’ll be the harder part

Started another digital drawing tonight. Demon horse. I hope to expand on this to include the back and rider (maybe). Humanoid creatures are harder though so we shall see
