I'm totally new to this game and also the news of the stageplay. Does the dvd have subtitles? I don't speak japanese...
Hi,
Unfortunately I don’t own the DVD but it is very unlikely for the play to have subtitles, especially since this one isn’t available for shipping outside of Japan.
It is extremely rare for Japanese stageplays to have English subtitles (I’m very invested in the fandom and came across maybe three out of hundreds. Most of the time, if you find a play with subtitles, those are fansubs....)
That and the price, it explains why the 2.5D fandom is so confidential.
For the writing prompts: 28 for BakuDeku, pls? Thank you <3
“That’s almost exactly the opposite of what I meant.”
“Do you do this on purpose?” Izuku demanded, throwing his hands up. “Of course that’s not what I’m saying! Do you just want an excuse to be mad at me?”
“I don’t need an excuse, you’re fucking infuriating,” Kacchan snapped right back.
“I’m not looking down on you!” Izuku shouted. “I’ve never looked down on you! I think you’re amazing!”
“That’s bullshit.”
“It’s true!” he insisted, and then forced himself to take a breath. To not get angry even though he already was, because Kacchan was angry and because they did this over and over again and got nowhere. Saying I didn’t mean it that way wasn’t going to suddenly make him understand.
“Kacchan,” he said.
“What, Deku.”
“I don’t try to help you because I think you can’t do things by yourself,” Izuku began, slowly. “I know you can. You can do anything–I really mean that,” he added hastily when he saw Kacchan begin to glare. “But I–I need you.”
“Don’t pull that bullshit,” Katsuki shot back. “You’re just as strong as I am. You’re not even that stupid. You could do any of this shit on your own.”
“I don’t want to,” Izuku said. “I don’t need you because I’m incapable, I need you because–because I think I’m better with you. Because I want to be with you. And so when I say I’ll help you with something, when I said I’d come with you to investigate, it’s not because I think you can’t but because I want to be there! If you want me there. And…and I’d like you to want me there.”
He chanced a look up. Kacchan was still looking at him but he didn’t look furious anymore. “Okay,” he said.
“Okay,” Izuku said. “So, um. Let’s try again. Do you want me to come with you?”
“Yeah,” Katsuki said, after a moment. “That’d be nice.”
May I request some domestic SaiGenos fluff? Like watching tv together, cuddled into a blanket? Or cooking together? Thank you very much!
Thanks for the request! ♥ Oops. Forgot the blanket X_x Sorry! No blanket is needed when Genos is in “charging mode” On, i guess… xD.
I hope you like it ^^

A friend of mine really wants to cosplay Riju from Zelda-Botw. She doesn't have the "right" skincolour - she's as white as a ghost. So we asked ourselves "What is the right way to go about it?" Use makeup to match Rijus skin and to avoid whitewashing (Riju HAS darker skin after all and to be accurate she would have to use makeup)or to stay white to avoid blackfacing (but in the process losing part of Rijus intended design?)It feels like both aren't great. So what do people think, especially POC?
Okay, when you consider this, ask yourself this question. If a black cosplayer wanted to cosplay Zelda, do you think she should have to paint herself white in order to not lose ‘the intended design.’ ?That answer should be a resounding no. A cosplayer’s own ethnicity should not be subject to the costumes accuracy or design. It is not ‘blackwashing’ or ‘poc justice’ when a black cosplayer cosplays a white character because we as a whole understand that their skin is not to be considered when critiquing their love for the character or hobby. Especially when the idea of a black cosplaying painting their skin white to be ‘accepted’ in our world should be as squeamish and wrong as it sounds. This is important because while I said ’we as a whole,’ there are a lot on non-cosplayers non-culturally savvy people out there who DO critique black and brown cosplayer for not being white when they cosplay white characters. And they feel valid in making those critiques because white cosplayers set a precedent that changing skin tone for accuracy is the expectation.i.e. black/brown cosplayers cannot have the ability to be accurate, but white cosplayers can.See the problem there? So I would advise, that yes, your friend can absolutely cosplay Riju. But they should not change their skin tone to do it. Skintone should not be in the to-do list of your costume build like buying contacts or wigs because no one should consider it that easy or that expected and doing so encourages that mindset. This isn’t a case of starfire, lotor, or gamora. Orange, purple, green – these are skin tones that do not carry ethnicity or history on planet earth. Black and white cosplayers changing their skin tone to those colors is easy and accessible to both! And doesn’t harm the idea of cross-ethnicity cosplaying. We currently have real-world problems of people oppressing specific skin types. So think of your fellow cosplayer’s lifestyle and repercussions – not the repercussions of a fictional character being misrepresented. And finally, in the end, if your main concern is being ‘the most accurate cosplayer’ and not ‘a positive cosplayer’ then there’s a lot of room for evaluation.
And now I'm really curious (nothing more, nothing less~ No hate or anything! Love all the ships! Sail into the sunset <3): Why do you like Sansby? What made you ship them? It's a rather popular ship I think and I really want to see what makes it so dear and special :D
Don’t worry :D!Hmmmmmmm..... it started when I first saw a reaaaly cute picture made by yesyooduck ...It was just something really cute and fluff I instantly fell in love :’D I haven’t payed much attention to ships before that, I knew there were a bunch, but didn’t exactly care what kind of :X But this one picture suddenly changed my mind and I really started loving sansby hahaIt just made sense to me as sans hangs out a lot at grillby’s :)! So the possibility might be there :D! I don’t know if it’s that popular though :O I just simply love it >w<Most of the times it’s always cute drawn pictures or fanfic that draw me to specific ships >3<!!Even if i don’t particularly like or care about certain other ships ... i could never deny the amazingness of that art!
