blood. an overflowing amount of blood seeped out of the carved bodies of the fallen. panicked, she stood there - feeling her fingers tremble over the amount of pressure of letting the sweet aroma flood in and take complete control of her senses.
nezuko was needed to help her comrades and siblings - but she stood there - in cold sweats - staring at the blood that puddled along the earth's ground a few feet before her. pausing all of her thoughts .. - was she .. was she drooling?
rubbing at her lips - she was in fact, drooling .. and that made her eyes grow wide out of pure shock as she was instantly disgusted with herself when she had taken a step back. why was the blood forcing her to drool out so much .. ? a dumb question to ask herself as she knew why - but she did not think she needed to fight herself anymore - as to fight all the urges to fall into her demonic urges .. she looked quickly away and bite the inside of her cheek as she felt so foolish. well not really foolish. stupid. but could it be blamed? you threw a demon who has never feed, in a blood bath and she could not help but drool over the delectable smells.
‘nezuko!’ she heard someone call for her. it was a friend trying to catch her attention to aid in protecting their team members - and of course, she did not open her eyes at first but .. she should have. her head followed the sound of her friends voice who was calling for her making her stop when a splat of something hit her face - and coat her parted lips, bridge of nose and some of her cheeks.
in cross range - the low in class slayer was cut in a swing of a foe - and their blood flung on her and hit all over her face when they were running to her for safely.but to be sighing in relief - she instantly flicked her eyes open and her lips stayed parted as she was inhaling deeply the blood that splattered at her face. ‘ ... mmm-!’ she was so scared. her fearful eyes searched around for someone to help clean her mouth as the situation was different from the time sanemi held his blood out for her to take a taste. but to the one that had gotten wounded before her - her eyes looked down to them. they were probably not sure what was going on in the demon girl's mind as her mind was mentally freaking out with a fight that was brewing within her as the small amount of humanity was slowly being thrown out the window. ‘ n - nezuko?’ the wounded fellow called for her - forcing her pupil to go in slits as she fought more with her mind as the sweats were growing more visible. the soul was trying to figure out what was going on with the little sister of tanjiro - till, the taste over all took over her taste buds. she could have spit it out. if she had moved fast enough and not sat in panic and let it swirl around in her saliva in her mouth - and actually let it linger near her tongue - things could be more under control.
an erupted a growl from deep within her throat, as she lowered her head from sight. fangs grew - ready to seep in near the nearest mound of flesh that was close to her, the poor lower slayer was only trying to keep them self safe and saw nezuko who they knew would do what she could in order to protect them. but who protects them from her? that was now the question - as the inner battle now began as a long hiss escaped her - as the fight for pure hunger that she ignored till now, slowly surfaced and she eyed her first victim.
now this was a fight that the others were going to have to be ready for. stretching an arm and snatching up the wounded one - nezuko fought that urge to place her lips along their shoulder - but she fought them to settle them down without breaking their arm completely to have them just sit there for her to figure out her next move. the others were focused on the demon that attacked - that no one noticed nezuko at first. it wasn’t till the person in her grasp screamed for more aid did someone else turn to look over at the situation that was at hand.
but would they be fast enough to stop her - or snap her out of the hunger trance she was locked in?
