Do you ever doubt your craft and/or beliefs? What do you do when that happens?
At first, yes. I think everyone doubts themselves or their beliefs at one time :) I usually meditate on the problem when I’m having doubts, or ask someone more experienced for advice.
Do you feel like you’re “different” than other people? Can you explain that feeling, or why you have it?
I'm not sure, honestly. I mean, we're all "different" than each other. I would definitely consider myself different and odd compared to the small town folks I currently live around, but that's for more obvious reasons.
What’s your comfort food?
Oh, there are too many for me to really list. Honestly, they're the "cliche" comfort foods. The more fattening the better.
Where do you feel most calm?
By the riverside, or any large body of water for sure (I would say near/on the ocean, but I'm landlocked). Or any sort of forestry. Both settings make me feel right at home, and never fail to put me at peace.
How long have you been on tumblr and what made you get a blog?
Hmm... A few years? I'm not sure. I got my blog forever ago because I saw screenshots of tumblr posts and decided I wanted to get in on the action.
What do you love about yourself?
That's a hard question. I don't really know... I guess my patience? Sometimes I surprise myself at how patient I can be (does that sound weird?).
What are your overall beliefs about the universe, about death and life? how did we get here?
Those are LOADED questions. I could spend hours writing post after post in attempt to answer them, but I don't think we'd get any further than where we are now. I don't really have any beliefs, though I've found myself leaning heavily towards Hellenic beliefs. I think many religions have some truth to them, and I could never (nor would ever) claim another belief to be wrong simply because I honestly don't know. I think we all find out in the end, though. Death is the only certainty I have, and is probably why I don't fear it.
Do you believe in aliens? what are your theories on other life?
Of course. There is so much *space* out there, it's ridiculous (and incredibly selfish) to think that we're the only life forms out here. I don't have theories on that - maybe the visit us, maybe not. Maybe they wonder if there is life out there, too. Who knows?
Are there people you completely trust in your life?
Yes. Myself, and one other person. I think this world is too crazy to let your guard down.
What’s your relationship with your family?
It's alright, I suppose. I love my imediate family, but not really the extended (cousins, aunts, uncles, etc). That's a long, personal, and incredibly complicated story.
What possible inventions will drastically change the way we live in the future? do you think it’ll make our environment even worse off than it is now or will we ever learn?
The world is constantly changing. Look at where we were ten years ago, and compare it to now - there are extreme differences already. I'm not going to list specific inventions, though. I think there will be benefits, but at the rate things are moving I feel it might take a downward look. Hopefully things will change for the better :)
