2. Would you be a Summer or Winter Sidhe?
Deffffinitely Summer. I am not nearly cold or calculating enough to be a Winter Sidhe. It’s literally a joke in my household that the sun shines whenever I go out to do anything fun. My Aunt has called me her “Sunshine” since I was born. I’m much more likely to follow my heart rather than my head. And I love flowers. So yeah, definitely Summer.
4. What kind of magic do you think you’d specialize in?
I figure fire magic, like Harry. I don’t have the delicate patience it takes to pull off decent illusions. I like quick, fast, easy spells that you can just whip up easily. I’d probably like potions quite a bit, too. I would suck at Thaumaturgy, big time, though. I’m good at sitting still for long periods of time, but maintaining focus and concentration while I do it? You have got to be kidding me.
5. What occupation would you have as a wizard?
Hmm... I guess there’d be desk jobs open at the Council, so I could probably do that. I’d like to play a role in the wider supernatural community. I’d definitely help out the Paranet, and if I got good enough at certain spells, I’d sell enchanted items and potion recipes to other wizards. I don’t know if I would want a job making money out of vanilla mortals by using my powers, though.
16. Would you be worthy of wielding one of the Swords of the Cross?
Gods, I feel like if you say yes that automatically makes you unworthy of wielding one XD. But I mean, I guess. I’m an atheist, but I respect religion, and I think having faith and believing in things is important, even if all you believe in is the abilities of yourself or other people. If I did tae up a sword, it’d probably be Amoracchius (although... an atheist asexual Knight of the Cross, with the sword of Love??? XD) or possibly Esperacchius.
18. If you were a wizard, what kind of magical equipment would you have? (Staff, blasting rod or something more like Elaine’s gear? A shield bracelet?)
Hmm... I’m really not sure, because I don’t like carrying a lot of stuff around. Like, most of the time I won’t even leave the house with a bag if I can help it. Pockets are important to me (which sucks, because I’m a girl, and girl trousers never get decent pockets, which would have to change if I became a wizard). So I’d probably go with a lot of wearable gear. I’d embroider a jacket to make it impossible to tear or stain. I like Ramirez’s glove, so I’d probably do something like that, for channeling large amounts of energy. Also, I’d definitely carve runes on a few coins and imbue them with magic. I’d roll the coins at whatever monsters were trying to annoy me, and they’d either explode with power or surround the area with mist/smog to let me escape easily. It would also mean I don’t have to answer weird questions about why I’m carrying around a big wooden stick.
ascientistsbattlecry asked me most of these, and also:
17.Would you use your sight to capture moments you wanted to remember or only for things that were necessary?
I’d probably only use it for things that were necessary. I think one of the main issues with the Sight is that while something might look beautiful, it might not actually be beautiful. Like, I pretty much guarantee that given the option, Harry would rather just take home a calendar featuring a scantily-clad Lara Raith, than actually look at the real Lara through the Sight. The best way to remember a beautiful sunset is by taking a photograph. Plus even with emotional moments, I’m a real sentimental kind of person. Generally, even when I’m experiencing a moment of true happiness, the knowledge that that kind of happiness is fleeting is always present in the back of my mind. Would that sort of thought taint the memory, were I to see it for how it truly is? IDK. I wouldn’t risk it XD.
