Rui didn’t like to come to the more crowded areas of Cotes. It was why he lingered around the outskirts of the parks, because -- as much as some newly-recalled part of him would love to be able to do things like a normal child -- he couldn’t... deal with it. He couldn’t deal with that part of him wanting to fit in.

So he stayed at the parks no one often visited, the ones on the edges of the booming, popular parks; stayed where he couldn’t see the swarms of people heading home for the day now that the sun was down. Regardless, he could hear laughter-- hear a few stray cries of, “coming, Mum!” as children who didn’t want to leave their friends just yet were dragged away to their houses.

Rui held his attention on the string between his fingers and tried to not let the rage and hurt inside all bubble over. He’d--

“...?”

--his head turned, the sudden feeling of being watched rushing over him in waves. A boy? One with a wooden sword -- yet another slayer? No, the outfit seemed wrong... and how long had he been there?

“What are you staring at.”

“I’m not free entertainment. It’s dark. Go home.”

muichiro felt as though his nose was going to melt, not knowing where the smell was exactly coming from while his nose searched for the source. not taking a moment to stand around the center of the mist, the demon slayer took a quick moment to climb the nearby tree branch with little to no effort. he notices another boy with a torn and frayed kimono, which looked as if it hadn’t been washed in weeks. there it was.  “i’m sorry. i guess you’re just stinky.” he states, perching on the branch. when was the last time this guy has bathed?

Would your muse make a wish on a star? If so, what would they wish for?

Here? He’d still just... want to see his family again. Other than that, I think he’s most inclined to use it as a good-luck charm for whatever his current endeavor is.

If your muse was the only person around and someone was injured, would they help? Would they have the experience needed?

While he is, you know, evil... I think the immediate emotional response to help someone in trouble is stronger than his impulse to act to his alignment. The main thing stopping him is, no he does not have the experience. In fact, he can have a difficult time recognizing injuries on a person. If you’re inorganic, you can count on him, though!

does your muse have any scars? if so, what is the most notable one?

He’s got a few scars from just being in Passione. A lot of them have faded since he got his Stand and you don’t really see them unless you really look.

The most notable scars are his death scars. The violent hole through his chest, with a similar scar at his back from point of entry to exit. They’re fairly faded thanks to Golden Experience, but they’re still there. The scar on his left shoulder that’s essentially a clean slice the broke his shoulder is also one.

Another notable scar is where the golden arrow pierced him to get Sticky Fingers.

That one is right under his collar bone, on the left side. That one has not faded. He doesn’t like it.

wig…the thing with tanjiro is that he’s a very determined person. he knows his goals, and what it takes to accomplish them, but he knows he can’t do it if he destroys himself in the process. so yes, while he does push himself, it’s only in the direction of progress and growth! 

he knows when to take his breaks so he doesn’t break.
