SHE HAD BEEN COMPLETELY IN HER THOUGHTS,zoning out from reality, until she realized his presence, jolting back to reality with a sheepish smile. “Sorry, I’ve been a little...out of sorts. Do you wanna maybe just go get ice cream someplace?” Caitlin wasn’t in the mood for doing anything that required a lot of effort, even though that may not be considered fun. The company would certainly be appreciated, but she wouldn’t be too surprised if Jay had something more interesting to do.
