Alec was silent and non compliant for a lot of days, he turned around the best way he could whenever someone entered the room. He couldn’t look into Izzy’s eyes, nor Jaces, not at all his mothers or even his fathers. It was his fault that Max was dead. 

His little brother. The light of all their lives. Alec had been getting him from soccer practice with his car as a ghost driver drove straight into them and Alec could have moved away, but he was just so frozen. If he reacted the way he reacted in training Martial Arts or archery, none of this would have happened and Max was still alive. 

Izzy and Jace were still there with him, talking to him, about anything really. His parents gave up. and sometimes on good days Alec replied, but one thing they couldn’t do: Get him out of bed. Since the moment he had woken up the doctor told him the news that if he was lucky he could use his legs again like he had before. Physiotherapists from the hospital, or hired by his parents tried their best, but Alec wallowed in his grief and thought this was his punishment for not reacting. 

Since there was nothing else wrong with him they moved him into a rehab facility and Alec felt betrayed and stupid as he sat in his room and wheelchair waiting for the program or whatever to start.

              Alec was, for some reason, a nervous wreck. He kept checking himself to make sure he was presenting himself well. Why was he so nervous? It wasn’t like this was the first time he’d been at the warlock’s. Perhaps it was because, this time had nothing to do with shadowhunter business. This time was a lot more, intimate? He wasn’t sure what to call it. He just, found himself wanting to see the other. With a deep breath, he knocked on the warlock’s door and backed away a little. This is it...just breathe.

A shudder wracked the young shadowhunter’s body when he felt the slight sting of teeth against his throat, followed by the soothing slide of a tongue along the marks left behind. The blur of pain and pleasure was a heady mixture that made him forget where they were. Even the loud music was suddenly drowned out. 

“Yes, just like that.” His voice reached a deeper octave, huskier, tinged with his growing arousal. The proof of which could be felt pressing against his warlock’s thigh, tenting the material of his pants.

.                                         ❝i’m sorry.’ alec stated at the first sound of steps. he was sitting by magnus’ couche’s arm, knees straight, and slightly hunched over as his fingers circled and rubbed around his wrist absently. at the sight of the warlock, the words got robbed of him for a moment, mouth dry, and there was a lightly constricted look in his eyes. ‘i just had to get out of there.’ he said, after a moment, voice quiet, but firm. he knew magnus had granted him access for emergencies purpose, and he wasn’t sure if this qualified as one. he also wasn’t sure how much of him magnus would want to see after knowing what he’d been through as well, but he figured he could always tell him to leave, and maybe magnus was needing him too.

"Magnus, well this is a surprise. Usually I'm the one showing up at your doorstep. Does this mean you're calling in that favor?" Will was keenly aware that he owed the other for all the help, both professional and personal, they had given him. Magnus was a friend, no matter what the clave would think of it.

“Magnus?” He steps carefully into the warlock’s apartment, fingers twitching within the confines of his pockets. Pain prickles up from the base of his spine, and he cannot help but favour his right leg over his left, but he ignores it in favour of calling out into the seemingly empty living space once more. “Magnus? if i do the thing, i want to make patroclus, but mainly based off the song of achilles but a modern version of the character. but i just feel like not enough people would know who he is to want to do anything with him so im just.. hmmf :c
