you can’t see it but Aizawa’s hardy twill (+ tropical lining) jumpsuit is 99% done and hiding under all that blue material and a loop of the capture weapon is peeking out of my top drawer

so I just got the fabric and freakin industrial workboots in for the Aizawa cosplay I am SuDDeNLY doing and I’m crying it’s so perfect but I knew it would be perfect, how did I know?

*weave: twill, best known for use in workmans jumpsuits (no flair to speak of, check)

*weight: “medium to heavy, best used for suits or UPHOLSTERY” (HE IS A WALKING SLEEPING BAG, DOUBLE CHECK)

*how to clean: “wipe with a damp cloth” (im wiping away a tear, i love this garbage man and his lack of standards)

Finally, something I don’t have to double layer, and the fabric for the kiddo’s Sports Festival tracksuits is soft and comfy and theres enough to make one for both me and Rae, and hopefully even a jumper for my guy, oh, oh i’m so happy, i have far too many things to do but I’LL SEE YOU AT OTAKON 2018 LISTENERS

OH MY LOVE I already ripped it apart to line the actual jumpsuit! Rest assured, vacayzawa lives on, just on the inside. But don’t tell anyone.

(I ... honestly may never take this thing off. It’s heavy, like a thunder jacket with a silky Caribbean inside and an indestructible twill outside, and I can kick my leg over my head and pajamas pajamas pajamas my favorite character fights in pajamas

I just finished ordering some misc fabrics for Pearl and Peridot for @rainbowstarbird aaaaaaand I am confronted with what I am always confronted with RE: cosplay. 

Because I am such a whore for aesthetics and quality, I see how fucking FUN an outfit would be to make and wear and I JUST WANT TO DO IT BECAUSE IT WOULD BE SO GOOD. Even .... if I don’t necessarily like the character. I’ve been in cosplay long enough to know that the MoST FuCKINng Amazing Experiences have all been with characters I’ve synced with on a SOUL LEVEL and those con days rearranged the architecture of my HEART and because I am short on time atm I SHOULDN’T do a cosplay just because the fabrics/outfit would be insanely fun and there would be studs and maybe I love playing the fool even if I don’t necessarily love the fool and
