over "better in fanfic" I have written "almost always worse" bc it is simply true and no one knows how to write Derek Or Penelope for that matter smh. cj fics are the rare gems in a sea of bad stereotypes 😔. I have half scribbled "wasted potential" because I still like them platonically so I don't feel like it was a total waste, like imo cm gives denelope the most developed relationship in the whole show. but we all know why they weren't a romantic couple. we have eyes. same reason for "vision/potential!"
