So Scott Cawthon is going into that basket of “people I used to like but can no longer like because he votes for and funds people whose policies actively hurt people who aren’t them”

The fact so many are showering him with support because of his voluntary retirement and blaming people he has hurt says a lot about how much damage is still being done. Scott Cawthon is not a victim. He’s a guy with six kids who can comfortably retire at age 45. He’s going to be fine. The people who are hurt by those he funded tho? Not so much.

Ok, so he’s basically admitting Jaime’s arc has...

sigh, you know, I never got on the Braime train because I never believed Jaime would get rid of Cersei. I really didn’t trust the guy. But why go ahead and give fans that amount of fan service, to then just go and be like “ok kids, you had your candy, now this character is back to being himself!” That’s just mean!

Exactly! It’s been pure fan service and even cruel. And even when I’m a Braime shipper, I’m not just mad about that. I mean, I knew their story would probably end up in a tragic way but it’s one thing to do that and it’s another to butcher a character because, wtf? Jaime’s arc in the past seasons? Him being able to abandon his sister and the toxic relationship they had at the end of s7 for good? All for nothing. It’s like a fuck you to the fans and bad writing, obviously.
