“Hey, is that automail?” This guy’s arm looks like it’s made of stone, and it’s big, but... he’s seen bulky automail, and stranger things have come out of Rush Valley. If it is automail, he’ll have to get all the details to tell Winry later.

He shrugs off his jacket, revealing his metal arm.

“I’m looking for a mechanic since I seem to have ended up here without mine.” Of course he’s glad Winry’s not trapped here too, but... “The last thing I need is for my arm to quit working on me.”

She was half expecting him to say ‘nah’ and to beat it. You can say she’s pretty intimidated, but when he gives her the go ahead with the question, she’s relieved. HE doesn’t seem at all bad. She’s also grateful that she’s not one of those hardcore religious people. She wouldn’t have been able to befriend HALF the people she’s met here if she were. 

Okay, question...Right. Clearing her throat, the human shifts on the balls of her feet a little awkwardly. 

“So like....what’s the limit? With...You know,” She gestures to his hand, “Like what’s the heaviest thing you’ve lifted before? AND ALSO your......horns?” Isn’t it rude to ask about the physical appearance of someone else? God, she should’ve kept her mouth shut. “You really don’t have to answer any of these. M’ just curious.”

“Hey, I can’t see anything!” Kay’s standing toward the back of the crowd, and she can’t see anything over all these tall people... it’s not fair at all.

She’s never actually seen a fireworks show before, so she isn’t sure what she was expecting... but a crowd of people so dense that she can’t see at all wasn’t it.

“Hey mister, did they start yet? I... don’t actually know what fireworks look like.” Maybe they already started and she just missed it. “Will I be able to see even from down here?”

Sal was on his hands and knees; looking for his lost glass eye under a dirty bench. It had definitely rolled off somewhere out of his sight. Ugh. He could just ...buy another one, but he had kept this specific one with him for so long, and so.....well, he felt a bit sentimental about it. It wouldn’t be the end of the world if he couldn’t find it, but he’d feel pretty shitty if he didn’t try his hardest to look for it. 

Though at the moment all he could see was dead bugs, old gum and some miscellaneous discarded food items. Gross! He let out a sigh and sat up on his knees; only now just realizing that there was someone else nearby. “Uh. Hey. Sorry. I lost something over here. ..Wouldn’t recommend sitting on this bench though. It’s kind of gross.” This guy was huge...and red? ..Well, Spirale did tend to house all sorts of people.. Sal wasn’t going to pretend like he was surprised. In all honesty, he was starting to get desensitized to all of this.
