Today as I tried to wake up unnaturally early I flicked through my dad's New Scientist and they had a feature on Denisovians, this hominid species whose DNA is found in some modern humans in North East Asia

But my main takeaway from it was that they're named after the cave that some artefacts or bones or whatever were found in

The cave was named after a hermit called Denis

This entire species of people are named after a hermit
