It was the way Izuku just said that so casually to him. It was hard for him not to think of himself as a burden sometimes. It wasn't like Denki was the smartest person in the class. In fact he was lower at the bottom. No matter how hard he tried to be up there with the rest of his classmates it was a lot harder than he had expected. Denki knew he was smart in other ways, but it still stung whenever he was teased about it.

The blond could feel his eyes start to water after it was said. Izuku really was the sweetest person ever. It was no telling why his heart beat would grow faster every time he was around him. "You're to good for me." Denki said. Allowing his face to be buried in Izuku's chest.

The good thing was that Izuku was okay. He had thought for a moment that the other might've been seriously hurt. However, it didn't seem like that was the case. Which was good. He didn't like seeing the people he cared about getting hurt. He had only hid his face for a moment. Not wanting the greenette to see him all upset.

However, he does turn around when he's asked to. A little sniffle is made as he does this. Allowing Izuku to see his face. He had a few bruises from the battle, but nothing worse than that. "I guess I was just preparing for the worst."

Denki was in the common room playing Mario Kart with some of the others. No matter how hard he tried he couldn't seem to beat any of them. He'd end up second or third instead. Which was kind of annoying him. Since he wanted to be the best at it. Which wasn't always the case. He noticed Bakugo walking in the room after they had finished a race. He smiles as he looks over at the other.

"Hey man! Would you like to join us? We've got room for one more!" Denki said wanting the other to feel included in their fun. Even if he had been losing. It wouldn't make a difference if Bakugo ended up beating him too if he played.

All the students had been training together with Class B more often these days. So, he was seeing a lot more of Tetsutetsu. He didn’t really mind it though. Since Tetsutetsu was really good friends with Kirishima he was rather easy to get a long with. Lately, he couldn’t help but find himself glancing over at the other male every now and again. For some reason he started to feel butterflies in his chest when he was around the other and it didn’t help how the other male was also super muscular too.

He gulped when Tetsutetsu started to walk over to him. Denki couldn’t keep his eyes off of the other and he started to think maybe he could be the one? It wasn’t that farfetched was it?

There was no way he was about to let Hitoshi be out in the rain. Nope. Denki would feel bad for taking his umbrella and making Hitoshi stand out in the rain. He does take the umbrella, but he looks at Hitoshi. Before he could debate any longer he pulls Hitoshi in by his waist gently so that they both could share the umbrella together. Plus, it wasn't like he minded being this close to Hitoshi. In fact, he liked it like that.

"There's no reason we can't both be under the umbrella." Denki smiled at the other brightly. "I'm not about to let you get all wet because I forgot an umbrella."

He hadn't meant to reach over and grab a hold of his hand. It just happened to be there. Denki had seen Kirishima training and he noticed him almost falling. So, that's when he reached over to take a hold of Izuku's hand. Since he got a little worried.

 Whenever he heard his name he shakes his head snapping out of it. Looking over at Izuku. "Hmm? Oh yeah I just got a little worried about Kiri there for a second. But I should know that he's good at getting back on his feet."

They had been seeing a little more of one another lately. At first Denki didn't like Monoma all that much. But now? Now he had come to enjoy his company. He was really fun to be around once Denki got to know him. Right now he was waiting on the other to meet him at their common room in 1A. It seemed Monoma was okay with the idea and he was glad about that. Once he saw the other come through the door way he grins. Hurrying over to him.

He leans over and gives the other a kiss on the cheek. "I'm happy you could make it." Denki reached down and laces their fingers together. "Do you want to just head up to my dorm?"
