31. Is there something you don’t know the meaning of but you haven’t asked anyone because you think it’s supposed to be general knowledge? Was there ever something you had to ask someone to explain? 

GOD I KNOW FOR A FACT THERE HAS BEEN IN THE PAST. LIKE FOR SURE FOR SURE, RIGHT........ i'm really bad with new slang acronyms especially, like it took me forever to learn what ymmv meant. LOL and those acronyms are also so embarrassing to ask ppl about bc i sound old. but like. this has been an issue since i was a teened Ager. SO MAYBE ITS JUST A SKILL ISSUE

35. Do you read other people’s threads or do you only read your own?

i will sometimes peek at my friends' threads!! i don't keep up with them the way i do my own, but it is fun to eavesdrop sometimes ;) ESPECIALLY if it's between two friends i introduced to each other because then i get unreasonably excited SDJFKDSFHKS

THEY WERE STARING, ADMITTEDLY. the scar her eyes linger on is a nasty burn stretching across midoriya's shoulder and collarbone. at his permission, persephone's eyes flick up to his face for a moment, hesitant. if someone tried to touch the long gash across her throat, or the gruesome mass of torn scar tissue fusing her shoulders to her torso, she'd break their arm.

she's not sure what she's looking for, really. a lie? a trick? he isn't easy to read by any means, but — midoriya is putting his trust in her. so she lets her guard down, just a bit, to match.

once the cut along his ribs is cleaned, persephone lifts a mechanical hand and brushes the silicone fingertips along the shiny flesh. they can't feel it, as predicted, but ... there's something about this allowance, still. something shifts, deep in the back of their mind. seph traces the blurred border of the scar where it meets unblemished skin, a knot furrowed between her brows. ❝ this is a flash burn. an explosion? ❞

There's a crooked smile on Tomura's face, one enough to make near-anyone who sees it shiver with dread. This man, this force of destruction who has stolen the lives of so many and sent their hopes crumbling into dust... is infamous enough that, after all, even a smile is enough to fill them with utter terror, a level of fear stronger than anything they've ever felt before.

Yet where some people feel fear... others feel hope. For the villains of the world, the name and face of Tomura Shigaraki means something very different than it does to the average man. Both hope and despair co-existing at once like that... it might feel like it should be impossible, yet to Tomura, it isn't strange at all. But what he's wondering about right now, more than anything else, is what it is that Izuku Midoriya is feeling when he looks at him in this moment. Is it anger and fear that fills his heart, or something else entirely? What does the face of Tomura Shigaraki mean to him?

"I bet you weren't expecting to see me again. It's been... a while, hasn't it?"

Although cold is all Blake feels, it feels even colder today. Maybe it isn’t just his brain playing with him, though. His fingers struggle slightly to move how they should. The laces on his arm brace were being particularly stubborn, too. Of course he didn’t want to ask for help. He was the prince, the one that can do anything. He could deescalate wars, fight and win in them, excel in almost everything… except excel or even apparently put on his own brace.

With an eventual sigh, he stands up. “Hey, Izuku? I need your help with my brace.” He raises an ungloved hand, slowly wiggling his fingers a bit. Although he’s still relearning emotions, his face never forgot. A small, tired frown on his face. “Stiff today.”

And put his hands up he does. Slowly, with relaxation reflecting in his eyes so clearly it borders offensive, and a smirk that can only mean one thing.

“Sure thing, sir,” the villain mocks, “Are you going to cuff me now?”

Present Mic has the other cornered, there's literally nowhere for him to run. And yet, the smirk, the relaxation - everything pings alarms in Mic's brain. There's unplayed cards on the field, something up the other's sleeve.

"Yes," he admits, approaching though not without some hesitance and caution. Because what else is he supposed to do? He can't just let him stay uncuffed. "And you're going to behave, right?"

@vsagis — how can i not recommend alex's izuku. he's become inextricably linked to my other blog's muse, to the point where they exist in each other's lore regardless of universe. if youuuuuu want to experience a version of villain izuku you've never seen before, whose ruthlessness is chilling as hell and whose deeper softness is incredibly rewarding to find underneath the unraveled thorns and grab onto. i could literally go on forever about alex's izuku so i'm going to shut myself up but trust me when i say you won't regret following. (AND WE MIGHT GET TO MEET IN PERSON NEXT YEAR IF I GET THIS JOBBBBBB IM SO EXCITED <3)

@shishitoren-vc — i've said this a million times already but jess is one of my first mutuals ever from my other blog, and i AM ride-or-die for them i'm afraid <3 their togame portrayal is so so so lovely, they bring him to life in a way that feels super authentic to the character (like i can literally hear his VA in the dialogue they write it's amazing) and the way they've expanded on his characteristics that we don't have explanations for is so well-thought out. i love to read their threads on the dash and it's always so fun to develop new plots together :D about to hurl chiaki at him alongside the dynamic we have going with geto, which is super exciting!

@sanctamater — speaking of my oldest mutuals. i think claire actually takes the #1 spot on this. we've been following each other since i very first started my elizabeth bioshock blog in 2014(???) isn't it wild that it's been literally Ten Years? god damn. (to be fair, much of that time was spent with me fuckign Absent but STILL) it's been so nice to reconnect and slowly start writing amelia and elizabeth again, there's a vibe to it that feels very much like coming back to a nostalgic time. their portrayal of lady comstock takes her so far beyond the crumbs we got in canon and turns her into such an otherworldly, tragic, human character that fascinates me at every turn. appreciate you lots, claire. i'm also Greatly enjoying your descent into the dragon age hole, bc it means i can live vicariously through you til i get a pc/console that can run it LMFAO. waving at you from my anime boy rot zone o7
