August To Read Pile
The Ash Garden by Dennis Bock - currently reading - This is a timely read - leading up to the date of the bombing of Hiroshima. So far, the writing is stunning- it conveys such emotion and feeling.
Girl One by Sara Flannery Murphy - This looks like a similar genre as The Judas Rose - dystopian sci-fi with a feminist twist.
The Judas Rose by Suzette Haden Elgin - I really wanted to get to this last month. It’s probably going to be the first one I pick up in August.
Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo - I have recovered from Six of Crows and am ready to tackle what comes next. Some of the book has been spoiled for me ( it was of my own doing - I shouldn’t scroll through tiktok) and the spoilers made me sad, even out of context
