The world building through the waterpark ad was SO good this episode. And I’m very curious to find out if this salt water madness ties into whatever’s going on with Anouk or if she is genuinely suffering from schizophrenia

VERY interesting first episode of Thirst- minor spoilers for episode one under the cut.

I noticed on the first pass that all the couples are heterosexual which I thought was interesting both for a dating tv show, but also for a penumbra pod- but you've got like the full spectrum.

Holly and Sarge are the EXTEMELY traditional straight couple, she lets him talk over her, he's hypermasculine, and she agrees with his opinions.

Rain and Dennis L. are the stereotypical arguing couple where you can't see why in the world they would've married each other.

Anouk and Dennis are overly lovey dovey (especially on Dennis's part) and might have been childhood sweethearts

And Copote and Georgia both give off queer stereotypes and could very well be faking their relationship for some sort of gain. (Copote is also the name of a famous American author who was out as a gay man even in the 1960s).

Just something I found really interesting about this first episode!

MmmMMM. New episode of Thirst was so good! I have had Copote for all of ten seconds, but if anything happened to him I would end everyone in this room and then myself.

The first episode of Thirst was brilliant! I have maaany opinions and theories already, and hearing Joshua Ilon back again was BRILLIANT (as always).

Should I start a new blog to discuss Thirst, or keep using this one? If anyone has opinions on the episode I would LOVE to hear them.
