Dennis and Bobby Hull Combine for Five Goals in 1971 Clash

Oh Brother! The Hull Brothers lit up the Minnesota North Stars on February 6, 1971. Bobby Hull scored a hat trick and Dennis Hull added two more in a 6-2 Chicago win. Just two weeks later, they did it again, combining for four goals and seven points against the Kings. Too much Hull to handle.

🎩 Reg Leach & Dennis Hull Each Score Hat Tricks in 1974 Blackhawks vs. Seals Showdown 🎩

January 6, 1974: The Seals came to Chicago, and both teams left with something to talk about. Dennis Hull lit up California for a hat trick and five total points in a 9-4 win for the Blackhawks. But Reggie Leach answered with a hat trick of his own, keeping things interesting for the Seals.

Hull scored all three of his goals by early in the second period and added two assists in the third. Leach scored the game’s first goal and completed his hat trick in the third, leading both teams with six shots each.

And in goal? California’s Bob Champoux played most of the game in relief and would finish the season with a 5.21 GAA in his only NHL campaign. A wild one at the Madhouse on Madison!
