Dennys Ilic’s stunning portrait of Katherine Barrell. 36” x 24”. I’m still trying to get my head around the fact that I am the new owner of this original. I’m eagerly awaiting her arrival from the U.S. Benefitting from my purchase is the McGrath Foundation, which provides access to specialist breast care nurses to breast cancer patients all across Australia. As promised, Dennys donated half of my winning bid to the Foundation.
It took me about 2 months to discover that Dennys Ilic had hidden this little gem of a print in the address label he created and taped to the poster tube for my Kat Barrell portrait. I discovered it today when I pulled all the identifying paperwork off so I could dispose of the tube. It’s an amazing little print on quality photo paper. I can’t explain how much I adore the image.
My photos don’t do it any justice. My 36”x24” Dennys Ilic original of Katherine Barrell arrived today, and it is more stunning than photos (ironically) can show.
