Guys, look at my weird daughter.
Such a polite lady. No, no, she didn’t poop on the floor today. I don’t know why anyone would accuse her of such things!
Pride Denny! She always looks guilty of something when she knows you’re taking a picture. Honey, you can do no wrong.
Also, we joke that Denny is a trans girl because of being misgendered as male the first 3 years of her life.
So yeah! Happy Pride from my trans dog!
My beautiful daughter out of bed. She got up around 1:30 pm.
I hadn’t gotten a chance to post about this because of the situation with Alley, but it’s Denny’s birthday today! We’re surprised that that was even at all recorded with how bad the place she was in was! (How do you spay a dog and then write down that she’s male???)
But anyway, Denny hopefully had a good day. It’s her first birthday celebration! We sang happy birthday to her and gave her gourmet treats and food! And that’s her in her birthday bandana eating doggy ice cream!
Don’t worry. She has her learner’s permit.
Denny, who was described by her foster as “not having herding tendencies”, is desperately trying to get all of us upstairs where the fans are because it’s hot downstairs. See, if this was just about her wanting to go to bed, she would try a couple of times to get everyone upstairs, but she’s being extremely persistent about it tonight. She escorted me upstairs, made sure I got in bed, and then went back down to get Kas and David. She wants to make sure her sheep aren’t too hot!
She expresses a lot of other herding tendencies too. Going to the park with her is funny because she runs in circles. She usually won’t end up resting until she thinks we’re safe and/or in our “proper place.” She herds me over to the couch almost every time I get up, given that that’s where I spend most of my day.
Denny is just such a good, goofy girl.
