It wasn’t a selfish act to want to move forward, in fact he had no where to be, It was more he felt sorry for both of them in the situation, She obviously having forgotten her wallet, Which has happened plenty to himself and the worker behind the counter, obviously believing she was wasting their time. ‘That should work just fine.’ He reassured the female as he took the instrument from her to rest on his thigh, fingers ghosting over the strings to get used to the feeling of a new guitar in his hands. He had only really ever been using his own, as he had gotten to know the instrument from head to toe and it simply felt better in his hold but as a preview for what he’d been working on using another would work too. He cleared his throat, making himself a bit more comfortable before he began to play the preview of the song he had been working on. It wasn’t anything he was going to release, or at least he hadn’t thought of it yet but when she suggested he’d play it and show her some of his work, he wasn’t against it.

michael takes one look at her and then shakes his head, immediately sitting up and pushing the rolled up coat away. it’s a nice gesture, and he appreciates the offer, but he’d never want to burden a stranger like this. truthfully, he wasn’t meaning to fall asleep here. he’d come for some fresh air and closed his eyes for a second, and the next minute he’d been woken up to the sound of footsteps and a voice. the blanket, which had been previously underneath him to protect him from the grass, now wrapped around his frame. he’d likely grabbed it when he was asleep. now he’s concerned that he’s been out here for too long.

“oh. no - thank you, but no. that’s okay! you don’t have to-” his mind still foggy from sleep, he sighs and reaches a hand up to rub at his face. out of all places to be found by a pretty lady, and out of all things he could’ve been doing, it had to be this? michael curses his chronic sleepiness. he’s always had a tendency to fall asleep in places he’s not supposed to. “i’m sorry. you’re so kind to offer that to me, but...i’m really okay. i shouldn’t even be sleeping here anyway.”

            Was that a CHALLENGE ? It sounded like one . A grin stretches on her lips before she shakes her head , hand reaching out to snatch a spare mic and bringing it to her lips . While she’s never been to karaoke since her high school days , for OBVIOUS reasons , she was equipped with a voice and the presence to OUTSHINE the other .

             All in good fun , of course . As the other started singing , she brought the mic to her lips , belting out the lyrics and notes during her parts , a wide grin sitting on her lips .

As soon as he heard the female sing, his jaw immediately dropped as he already accepted defeat. One, the female can sing better than him, and two for a rapper, there is no way he can belt out those notes. He clearly did underestimated his opponent. He watched the female sing, gleefully clapping along.

As soon as she finished, he clapped his hands louder than before and said, “Wow, noona that’s amazing! How can you...okay I think you won this round. Let’s see if you’re up for rapping.” He quickly pressed the numbers on the microphone for a rap song. Once the music starts playing, he spitted out the verses like rapid fire...trying his best of course.
