I took a stab at redesigning the “Bulbasaur” line from Pokémon Marble/Quartz.

I was a little bit disappointed with Denfrota (the final evo) since it’s so similar to the middle stage that there wasn’t a good sense of progression. I think I managed to fix that and tried to steer the designs in a more interesting direction with the hallowed tree theme.

So the acorn evolves into a tree.  Simple enough.  I dunno why it keeps the single, Chikorita-style leaf on top when it also has regular tree leaves.  Like, there are two types of leaves on this one tree.  Also it's so sad.  Why is this tree so sad.
