Ever since my dentist ground down the top of my (lower front) teeth, they’ve been extremely sensitive. One tooth in particular is now painful if I touch the top of it lightly, and the other two become painful if I touch them more firmly.
My dentist did this without telling me what he was doing or why, and it’s just become upsetting at this point. I feel like I’ll eventually need caps on those teeth as well because of this, and for what? Cosmetic changes? A marginally better bite? This isn’t the first time they’ve done this either. Years ago he ground my top fucking teeth down without telling me anything about it, and that also caused pain then (though now all 6 of my top front teeth have crowns).
I just want a new dentist at this point, because this dentist office consistently does questionable shit that bites me in the ass. Like telling me I just had staining on my front teeth for years, only to suddenly tell me it was an enamel issue years down the road. Or trying to clean one of my uncapped teeth without any anesthetic. Or sticking a fucking instrument right through a hole in one of my crowns, also without anesthetic, right after I told them it was hurting badly.
But I don’t even have insurance so like fuck me idk man.
